High Adventure
Through high adventure experiences, Boyscout Troop 72 "High Adventure Program", leaves lasting memories with Scouts and for many becomes the highlight trip during their years as a youth in Scouting. From canoeing the waterways in Maine, from the backpacking of the White Mountains of New Hampshire, from the biking on Cape Cod Massachusetts, from the kayaking in the Outerbanks of North Carolina, to the adventure of rock climbing, spelunking, sailing, hiking, these experiences will shape you and teach you about yourself.
For a Scout to be eligible to attend a Boyscout Troop 72 High Adventure trip, Scouts are required to be age 14 or older, have earned First Class Rank, join a planning committee such as food, training, itinerary or fundraising committee, participate in physical, online & classroom training programs, earn designated merit badges of which one that needs to be an Eagle rank required merit badge and participate in separate high adventure fundraising programs.
